40 Megawatt Concentrated Solar Project for Whyalla
Wizard Power expects that construction of the first project using its concentrated solar power (CSP) technology will commence at Whyalla in South Australia in the first half of 2013.

The demonstration of an innovation to turn agricultural waste and mallee biomass into energy has received Federal Government support of $3.62 million through ARENA's Emerging Renewables program. Export Orders for BioGill
Waste water treatment company BioGill has shipped the first export order of its innovative and environmentally friendly BioGill waste water treatment system. Four bioreactors were sent to Manila in The Philippines last month.

The company also has export orders for Canada, Vietnam and Mexico. Another 48 BioGills are being installed to treat industrial wastewater for a large customer in regional NSW. Read More

Fulcrum Energy Buys Solar, Measures Wind
Wind and solar energy developer Fulcrum Energy has been busy: in October its subsidiary Epuron acquired the 1 megawatt Uterne solar power plant in Alice Springs, and this month its 50 per cent subsidiary Fulcrum3D Pty Ltd received an $800,000 grant from Commercialisation Australia to develop a device for remotely measuring higher altitude wind speeds.
